We could not be more proud that Georgia Organics will host its conference here this year. But we’re even more proud that CulinAero’s steadfast commitment to organic and locally grown foods influenced the group’s decision to meet here.
 
An outgrowth of a grower’s association established in the 1970s, Georgia Organics is a member-supported not-for-profit organization devoted to promoting sustainable foods and local farms in Georgia.
 
The organization is advocates food systems should be community-based, not commodity-based and that a sustainable local food system is critical to the future of Georgia’s health, environment, and economy.
 
Recognizing this vital need, Georgia Organics builds supply through comprehensive grower education and outreach programs, and catalyzes demand on the consumer and business end by fostering market opportunities for local food.
 
The Georgia Organics community has 1,200 members, an annual conference that attracts 1,100, and a robust communication network that reaches 11,000 people and businesses quarterly, through print and electronic communications.
